The site and its history

The project traces back to an earlier, uncertified draft EIR for a different scheme called Cypress Villas. Melia Homes redesigned it and submitted the current Covina Village plan in December 2022.

The zoning is settled. Covina Village has its own specific plan, and construction is underway. The next things to watch are when the townhomes come to market and whether the three drive-through commercial pads open on the same timeline.
